Grevillea preissii Seaspray is a fast-growing shrub renowned for its striking flowers and great foliage. Showy clusters of rich red, spider-like flowers are borne from autumn through until spring. The flowers are complemented with small, green-blue leaves as it grows to 50 cm tall and 2 m wide. Grevillea Seaspray is commonly used as a groundcover, added to Mediterranean themed gardens, grown around pool and other living areas, or mass planted on a bank or the like for a magical display. It is also well suited to being maintained in a container or planted to brighten a dull spot in the garden.

Grevillea Seaspray Details

Grevillea preissii Seaspray is a fast-growing shrub renowned for its striking flowers and great foliage. Showy clusters of rich red, spider-like flowers are borne from autumn through until spring. They are great for attracting nectar feeding birds, and complemented with small, green-blue leaves. It typically grows to 50 cm tall and 2 m wide and can be trimmed as necessary. This evergreen performs best when grown in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It is frost hardy and tolerant of both dry periods and coastal environments. Grevillea Seaspray is commonly used as a groundcover, added to Mediterranean themed gardens, grown around pool and other living areas, or mass planted on a bank or the like for a magical display. It is also well suited to being maintained in a container or planted to brighten a dull spot in the garden.
