Guinea Flower, Hibbertia serpylifolia
Hibbertia serpyllifolia is a ground covering plant grown for its pretty flowers and hardy nature. Masses of bright yellow flowers are borne from spring through summer and sit nicely amidst the mid-green foliage. This perennial grows as a low and spreading mound to about 30 cm tall and 1 m wide. Hibbertia serpyllifolia is commonly used as an attractive groundcover, included in rock gardens, maintained in a container, or planted around outdoor living areas such as pools and the like.
