Juniperus communis Hornibrookii is a lovely, ground hugging conifer. Its main attraction is the fine and layered, green-grey, needle like foliage. It typically grows to 50 cm tall and 2 m wide as a dense mat, performing best when planted on a well-drained site in full sun or partial shade. It is tolerant of dry conditions but not of prolonged wet soils. It is also tolerant of coastal environments and cold conditions.
