Lithodora Crystal Blue makes an excellent groundcover and is commonly used to trail over walls, planted around large rocks, used in borders, planted around pool areas, or included in cottage gardens.

Lithodora diffusa Crystal Blue is a low growing, herbaceous perennial grown for its foliage and flowers. This popular plant grows as a mat of small, dark green leaves with a soft looking appearance. It bears masses of small, light blue flowers from spring through until autumn. It typically grows to 20 cm tall and 70 cm wide, growing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of light frost once established but intolerant of heavy or soils that are continuously wet. Lithodora Crystal Blue makes an excellent groundcover and is commonly used to trail over walls, planted around large rocks, used in borders, planted around pool areas, or included in cottage gardens.
