Myoporum parvifolium, commonly known as Creeping Myoporum, a ground cover plant renowned for its berries and foliage. Masses of small, white flowers are borne during spring and summer which result in small, purple berries. It carries tiny, green leaves on woody branches and in cool climates it will be deciduous but otherwise evergreen. It typically grows to 1 m tall and 2 m wide. Myoporum parvifolium is commonly used as a ground cover or used in borders.

Myoporum parvifolium Details

Myoporum parvifolium, commonly known as Creeping Myoporum, a ground cover plant renowned for its berries and foliage. Masses of small, white flowers are borne during spring and summer which result in small, purple berries. It carries tiny, green leaves on woody branches and in cool climates it will be deciduous but otherwise evergreen. It typically grows to 1 m tall and 2 m wide and will strike roots anywhere the stems touch the soil. Best performance with this plant is achieved when it is grown in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of both dry and coastal conditions. Myoporum parvifolium is commonly used as a ground cover or used in borders. This is an excellent plant for stabilising slopes or hillsides provided it is not trampled.
