Myoporum parvifolium purpureum, commonly known as Boobialla, is a ground covering plant that is renowned for its flowers and foliage. Masses of small, white flowers are borne through spring and summer which result in small, purple berries. It carries small, dark purple leaves on woody branches that spread across the ground, and typically grows to 30 cm tall and 2 m wide. Myoporum parvifolium purpureum is commonly used as a groundcover or in borders. This is an excellent plant for banks and is well suited to modern gardens, pool areas, and coastal gardens.
