Pimelea urvilleana, commonly known as Pinātoro, is a mat forming, NZ native, ground cover plant. It has tiny, light green leaves held densely on short, erect stems. This evergreen typically grows to 15 cm tall and 70 cm wide performing best when grown in full sun on a well-drained soil. Pimelea urvilleana is commonly used as a groundcover, added to coastal plantings, or planted on a bank where it can help with protecting the soil.
