Masses of small, light blue, star shaped flowers cover the plant from spring through autumn as it grows to 10 cm tall and 70 cm wide. Pratia pedunculata is commonly used as a ground cover, an alternative to a grass lawn, or planted between paving stones and the like. It will trail over a wall or over the sides of a pot.
