Pratia pedunculata, commonly known as Trailing Pratia, is a low-growing, hardy ground cover plant. The small leaves on this plant give the appearance of a lush, green carpet. Masses of small, light blue, star shaped flowers cover the plant from spring through autumn as it grows to 10 cm tall and 70 cm wide. Pratia pedunculata is commonly used as a ground cover, an alternative to a grass lawn, or planted between paving stones and the like. It will trail over a wall or over the sides of a pot.

Pratia pedunculata, commonly known as Trailing Pratia, is a low-growing, hardy ground cover plant. The small leaves on this plant give the appearance of a lush, green carpet. From spring through autumn, masses of small, light blue, star shaped flowers cover the plant. It typically grows to 10 cm tall and will spread to 70 cm over 2-3 years. Best performance with this plant is achieved when grown in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of dry periods and light frost once established. Pratia pedunculata is commonly used as a ground cover, an alternative to a grass lawn, or planted between paving stones and the like. It will trail over a wall or over the sides of a pot.
