Sagina subulata Aurea is a very popular groundcover plant. It forms a moss-like carpet of bright yellow foliage and hugs the soil as it grows to just 5 cm tall and 60 cm wide. Tiny, white flowers appear in late spring. Sagina subulata Aurea is commonly used as a substitute for lawn, for filling between rocks or pavers, or included in a rock garden. It also looks amazing when grown in a pot.
