Grevillea New Blood is a fast growing, dense shrub which is grown for its spikes of exquisite, bright red, spider-like flowers during winter and spring. These are held abreast of the fine, mid-green foliage as it grows to 30 cm tall and 1 m wide. Grevillea New Blood is commonly included in a border planting, mass planted either as a groundcover or on a bank, planted around outdoor living areas, or grown to attract birds. It is also great for providing winter colour and looks stunning when allowed to cascade over rocks, slopes, or walls.

Grevillea New Blood is a fast growing, dense shrub which is grown for its spikes of exquisite, bright red, spider-like flowers. These are held abreast of the fine, mid-green foliage. The flowers are produced from winter through spring and are great for attracting nectar feeding birds. It typically grows to 30 cm tall and 1 m wide and can be trimmed as necessary. This evergreen performs best when grown in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It is frost hardy and tolerant of both dry periods and coastal environments.
