Grevillea poorinda Royal Mantle is a fast growing, spreading shrub grown for its foliage and flowers. It produces beautiful, pendant spikes of red flowers during spring and summer which are held abreast of the lush foliage as it grows to 1 m tall and 6 m wide. Grevillea Royal Mantle is commonly used as a groundcover, included in borders, used in coastal gardens, planted to attract birds, allowed to cascade over rocks, or mass planted on a bank.

I'd aim for 1.5-2 m apart at the top of the bank and the same spacing across the bank. Use a diagonal planting pattern so you get more consistent filling of the gaps.
