Lavender Spray Hebe

Hebe Lavender Spray grows as a prostrate shrub to about 15 cm tall and 75 cm wide. This NZ native carries small, mid green leaves which are held densely on slender, sprawling stems. Masses of lavender coloured flowers are produced from summer through autumn, transforming the plant into a wonder of colour. Hebe Lavender Spray is an ideal plant for using as a groundcover, including in borders, or planting around the base of larger trees. It looks splendid when allowed to spill over walls or paths.

Hebe Lavender Spray Details

Hebe Lavender Spray grows as a prostrate shrub to about 15 cm tall and 75 cm wide. This NZ native carries small, mid green leaves which are held densely on slender, sprawling stems. Masses of lavender coloured flowers are produced from summer through autumn, transforming the plant into a wonder of colour. The flowers fade to white with age which adds to the display. This variety grows best when planted in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is tolerant of frost, coastal conditions, cool climates, and dry periods. Hebe Lavender Spray is an ideal plant for using as a groundcover, including in borders, or planting around the base of larger trees. It looks splendid when allowed to spill over walls or paths.
