“Graeme Patterson” is a sprawling shrub grown for its attractive, silver-blue foliage and pretty flowers. The leaves are small, held densely on spreading stems, and are complemented with small, yellow flowers through spring and summer. This evergreen grows with a rounded shape to about 70 cm tall and 1.5 m wide, and performs best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of dry periods, coastal environments, and light frost. “Graeme Patterson” is commonly used as a groundcover, included in a mixed planting, or grown anywhere the unusualness of this plant can be appreciated. It is well suited to planting around outdoor living areas such as pools and can be mass planted on a bank or the like.
