Pratia Treadwellii, Pratia pedunculata Treadwellii
Pratia angulata Treadwellii, commonly known as Panakenake, is a fast growing, NZ native ground cover plant. It carries small and rounded, green leaves which are held densely as it grows to 10 cm tall and 2 m wide. It bears masses of white flowers in spring and summer which are followed by red-purple berries in autumn. Pratia Treadwellii is an easy plant to grow and is commonly used as attractive ground cover, planted around rocks, or allowed to trail over the edge of small wall. It is also well suited to trailing over the sides of a pot.
