Isotoma fluviatilis
Pratia puberula Alba, commonly known as the White Star Creeper, is a NZ native that is often grown as a hardy ground cover. The small leaves on this plant give the appearance of a lush, green carpet. It becomes adorned with masses of small, white flowers from spring through until autumn as it grows to 5 cm tall and 50 cm wide. Pratia Alba is commonly used as a ground cover, an alternative to a grass lawn, included in white and cottage gardens, or planted between paving stones and the like. It also looks amazing when grown in a hanging basket and allowed to trail over the sides.
