Pratia Summer Snow is commonly used as a ground cover, an alternative to a grass lawn, included in white and cottage gardens, or planted between paving stones and the like. It also looks amazing when grown in a hanging basket and allowed to trail over the sides.

Pratia angulata Summer Snow is a NZ native that is often grown as a hardy ground cover. The small leaves on this plant give the appearance of a lush, green carpet. It becomes adorned with masses of small, white flowers from spring through until autumn. It typically grows to 5 cm tall and will spread to 50 cm over 2-3 years, and can be cut back as needed. Best performance with this plant is achieved when it is grown in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of dry periods and light frost once established.
