Westringia ‘Low Horizon’ is a variety of the commonly known, Coastal Rosemary, and is a fast growing, shrub. It features narrow grey-green leaves held densely on short stems. The foliage is complemented with small and dainty, white flowers through spring and summer. This evergreen typically grows to 30 cm tall and 70 cm wide, performing best when planted in full sun on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of dry periods, moderate frost, coastal environments, and most soil conditions, barring extreme wet and dry. Westringia ‘Low Horizon’ is commonly used as a groundcover, included in coastal gardens, or planted around the base of larger plants in NZ gardens.
