It typically grows to 40 cm tall and 60 cm wide, growing best in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. This variety is a hardy plant that will also grow well on heavier soils and tolerates frost, cool climates, coastal environments, and dry soil conditions once established. The most stunning displays with this variety are achieved when it is mass planted on a bank or the like.
