Brunnera Alexanders Great is an herbaceous perennial grown for its heart shaped, silver and green leaves. The lush foliage has narrow, green veins with a green border and is complemented with clusters of small, light blue flowers in summer as it grows to 35 cm tall and 75 cm wide. Brunnera Alexanders Great is commonly included in a mixed planting, used in borders, planted around the base of larger trees and shrubs, or included in cottage gardens. A mass planting produces a lovely display.
