Storage roots enable it to regrow and expand each year should it die back during winter. This herbaceous perennial typically grows to 1.2 m tall and 1 m wide and is a tough plant that will thrive in partial shade or full sun conditions on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of wind, frost, cool climates, coastal environments, and drought. The Lord Howe Wedding Lily is great for adding a splash of colour to the garden and is well suited to planting against a plain wall.
