“Lullaby Baby” is a variety of the commonly known, “Day Lily”, and features very showy flowers. The large, white flowers with soft-pink tones are only at peak condition for a day, but are continually produced through summer. They are held above the narrow, strap-like, green leaves which serve as a lovely backdrop to the flowers. It typically grows to 50 cm tall and the same wide, performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of frost, cool climates, dry periods, and moderate wind. “Lullaby Baby” is commonly mass planted as a groundcover, planted around the base of larger trees, included in borders, or added to a mixed planting. It is also perfect for cottage gardens and using anywhere the flowering can be appreciated.
