Heuchera Sugar Plum is an herbaceous perennial grown for its foliage and impressive flowering. The large and lush, leaves are purple-red with a dusting of silver. Flower spikes emerge above the foliage in summer and may reach 50 cm tall carrying masses of small, bell-shaped, cream-coloured flowers. The combination of flowers and foliage is outstanding. It typically grows to 30 cm tall and 40 cm wide, performing best when planted on a well-drained, sheltered site in full sun or partial shade. It is tolerant of short periods of dry and in cold climates it may die back during winter to regenerate in spring.
