Pelargonium capitatum, commonly known as the Rose Geranium, is grown for its interesting foliage and bright pink flowers. The stems are soft and coated in green, glandular hairs and brushing against the plant releases a copious scent of essential oils. The flowers are produced in summer through autumn, and it typically grows to 75 cm tall and 1.5 m wide. Pelargonium capitatum is commonly used as a groundcover, included in borders, added to mixed plantings, used in cottage gardens, or mass planted for an impressive display.
