Pelargonium sidoides is grown for its clusters of dainty, dark purple-red flowers. These are borne through spring and summer and held above the small but lush, green-blue foliage. It typically grows to 20 cm tall and 50 cm wide. Pelargonium sidoides is commonly mass planted as a groundcover, maintained in a container, included cottage gardens, or planted around outdoor living areas such as pools and the like.
