Sansevieria Green, commonly known as the Snake Plant or Mother in Law’s Tongue, is a very popular indoor plant. It features upright and fleshy leaves that are green-grey. The spear shaped leaves arise from the base of this clump growing plant. It grows slowly to eventually reach 45 cm tall and 20 cm wide but can grow larger in favourable conditions. This succulent prefers to grow in full sun on a well-drained media. This Snake Plant will tolerate extended dry periods, some shade, fluctuating temperatures, and coastal environments but it will not tolerate constant over-watering. Sansevieria Green makes for a fabulous indoor plant and is well suited to providing colour to offices and foyers. It can be grown outdoors in warmer climates and suits Mediterranean themed gardens.
