Almond Garden Prince is a dwarf variety that features sweet, medium sized nuts in autumn. It is self-pollinating so does not need another variety planted alongside to bear fruit. The pink flowers are produced in spring just before the foliage emerges. The flowers give way to green leaves which develop yellow tones in autumn before falling. This tree typically grows with a vase shape to about 2 m tall and 1.5 m wide. Best performance with this tree is achieved when planted in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is tolerant of cool climates and frost. Almond Garden Prince suits being included in a mixed planting in smaller gardens.
