Juncus maritimus, Sea Rush
Juncus maritimus, commonly known as Sea Rush, is a species of rush that prevails in coastal areas. It has long and rigid leaves that are lime-green in colour and can reach 1.2 m in length. It typically grows to 1.2 m tall and 60 cm wide, but will colonise a larger area with time. Juncus maritimus is commonly used for wetland revegetation and is ideal for a coastal planting.
