Liriope muscari Majestic is grown for its lovely flowers and tidy foliage. This herbaceous perennial grows as a tidy clump and produces strap-like, dark green leaves which serve as a lovely backdrop to the spikes of pink flowers in summer. The flowers are long lasting and blend wonderfully with the foliage. It typically grows to 30 cm tall and the same wide, growing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained, sheltered site. It tolerates cool climates, moderate frost, dry periods, and coastal environments. During winter it may die back in colder regions to regrow in spring when conditions warm, but otherwise it remains evergreen.
