Liriope muscari Stripey White, commonly known as Lilyturf or Variegated Liriope, produces green leaves that are edged with cream-white. This herbaceous perennial grows as a tidy clump to about 35 cm tall and the same wide, performing best when positioned in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is tolerant of cool climates, moderate frost, dry periods, and coastal environments. It may die back during winter in colder regions to regrow in spring when conditions warm, but otherwise remains evergreen. Liriope muscari Stripey White is an excellent choice for cottage gardens, adding to a mixed planting, including in borders, or for planting around outdoor living areas.
