Liriope Royal Purple, commonly known as Purple Liriope or Lilyturf, is grown for its lovely flowers and tidy foliage. The long-lasting flowers are borne through summer and autumn, blending wonderfully with the foliage. This Lilyturf is an herbaceous perennial and grows as a tidy clump to about 40 cm tall and 45 cm wide, performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is tolerant of cool climates, moderate frost, dry periods, and coastal environments.
