Lomandra Empress is a tough and reliable ornamental grass with outstanding aesthetics. It features beautiful, fine-green foliage, held with a gentle arch. Small, yellow flowers are borne amidst the foliage in spring and combine nicely with the foliage. It grows as a tidy clump to about 40 cm tall and 70 cm wide, performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. This is a hardy plant and is tolerant of drought, frost, cool climates, wind, coastal climates, and most soil conditions, except extreme wet.
