Plants have graceful, grey-green foliage, and new leaves emerge with a silver colouring. Small, yellow flowers are borne amidst the foliage in spring and combine nicely with the foliage. It grows as a clump to about 50 cm tall and the same wide, growing best in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. This plant is tolerant of drought, frost, cold climates, wind, coastal climates, and most soil types except extreme wet.
