Lomandra ‘Green Allure’ is a tough and reliable ornamental grass with outstanding aesthetics. Plants have slender, deep-green foliage that typically grows upright with a slight, gentle arch. In spring, small, yellow flowers are borne on amidst the foliage and the combination with the foliage is impressive. It grows as a clump to about 40 cm tall and the same wide, growing best in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. This plant is tolerant of dry periods, frost, cold climates, moderate wind, coastal climates, and most soil types except extreme wet. Lomandra ‘Green Allure’ is commonly used in mass plantings as a ground cover, planted on a bank, or included in outdoor living areas.
