Lomandra ‘Katrinus Deluxe’ is a tough and reliable ornamental grass with outstanding aesthetics. It features mid-green foliage which is held upright with a slight, gentle arch. Small, yellow flowers are borne amidst the foliage in spring. It grows as a tidy clump to about 70 cm tall and the same wide, performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. This is a hardy plant and is tolerant of drought, frost, cool climates, wind, coastal climates, and most soil conditions, except extreme wet. Lomandra ‘Katrinus Deluxe’ is commonly mass planted either as a groundcover or on a bank, included in borders, planted around outdoor living areas, or grown anywhere few other plants will survive.
