Lomandra longifolia White Sands is a tough and reliable ornamental grass with outstanding aesthetics. It features variegated green and cream-coloured foliage which is held upright with a slight, gentle arch. It grows as a tidy clump to about 50 cm tall and 45 cm wide, performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. This is a hardy plant and is tolerant of drought, frost, cool climates, wind, coastal climates, and most soil conditions, except extreme wet. Lomandra longifolia White Sands is commonly mass planted either as a groundcover or on a bank, included in borders, planted around outdoor living areas, or grown anywhere few other plants will survive. It also looks amazing when grown in a container.
