Actaea pachypoda, commonly known as White Baneberry or Dolls Eyes, is an herbaceous perennial that features lush foliage and unusual looking berries. It produces clusters of small, fluffy, white flowers on red stems from spring through early summer. The flowers result in globular, white berries in summer. The foliage comprises finely divided, bright green leaves which provides a great backdrop to the flowers as it grows to 50 cm tall and 70 cm wide. Actaea pachypoda is commonly used in borders, mixed plantings, cottage gardens, or planted around the base of larger trees and shrubs.
