Aechmea gamosepala Lucky Stripe, commonly known as the variegated Matchstick Bromeliad, features interesting flowers. During summer it produces stems that carry fluffy, pink-red flowers. The dark green leaves with a yellow stripe are thick and leathery, and results in a plant that typically grows to 40 cm tall and the same wide.
