Best growth is achieved when it is planted on a well-drained, sheltered site in full sun or partial shade protected from frost. Chinese Taro is commonly included in mixed plantings, grown in a container, used in tropical gardens, or planted at the base of larger trees and shrubs. It also makes for a fabulous indoor plant if you have the room.
