Aquilegia Red Hobbit is an herbaceous perennial that features lovely, red and white flowers from late spring through until early summer. The flowers rise above the fern-like, green foliage which serves as a lovely backdrop. It typically grows to 30 cm tall and the same wide, performing best when positioned in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of moderate frost and short periods of dry. In these circumstances, it may die back to regrow again when conditions warm in spring.
