“Sugar and Ice” is a bushy, evergreen shrub grown for its showy flowers and delicate foliage. It produces an exquisite display of white flowers with a soft-yellow centre from late spring through until autumn. The masses of stunning flowers are complemented with fine, bright green leaves which serve as a lovely backdrop. It grows densely with a rounded shape to about 50 cm tall and the same wide, performing best when planted in full sun on a well-drained, semi-sheltered site. It is tolerant of light frost, coastal environments, and short periods of dry once established. “Sugar and Ice” is ideal for planting around outdoor living areas such as pools, including in borders or mixed plantings, mass planting either as a groundcover or on a bank, including in cottage gardens, or maintaining in a container.
