Armeria Pacific Giant is an herbaceous perennial grown for its pretty flowers. Clusters of soft pink flowers are borne on slender stems that rise above the foliage in spring. This compact, low-growing plant forms a dense, mounded tuft of grass-like, dark green leaves. It typically grows to 40 cm tall and 30 cm wide, performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of light frost, coastal environments, and periods of dry. In its natural habitat it grows in coastal areas where few other plants can grow well, hence its common name, Thrift.
