Arthropodium cirratum Avalanche, commonly known as Renga Renga Lily, is a clump forming plant with grey-green foliage which are soft and drooping in nature. Masses of starry, white flowers are borne during spring and summer as it grows to 50 cm tall and the same wide. Arthropodium Avalanche is commonly mass planted as a groundcover or used as a backdrop for smaller plants. It is also suited for “white” gardens and cottage gardens.

Arthropodium cirratum Avalanche, commonly known as Renga Renga Lily, is grown for its profuse flowering. It is a clump forming plant with grey-green foliage which are soft and drooping in nature. Masses of starry, white flowers are borne during spring and summer and are followed by fruits and seeds that attract birds. This plant is found naturally throughout NZ in coastal areas and will grow to about 50 cm tall and the same wide. It is hardy and will tolerate sun or shade conditions as well as dry and exposed conditions though plants are frost tender. Arthropodium Avalanche is commonly mass planted as a groundcover or used as a backdrop for smaller plants. It is also suited for “white” gardens and cottage gardens.
