Arthropodium Matapouri Bay is a variety of the commonly known, Renga Renga Lily, and features mid-green leaves that have a graceful and elegant arch. It produces masses of cream-coloured flowers on stems that rise above the foliage through spring and summer as it grows to 50 cm tall and the same wide. Arthropodium Matapouri Bay is commonly mass planted as a groundcover, used in cottage or “white” gardens, included in borders, or planted around outdoor living areas.

Arthropodium Matapouri Bay is a variety of the commonly known, Renga Renga Lily, and is grown for its foliage and flowers. The leaves are mid-green, long, and have a graceful and elegant arch. It produces masses of cream-coloured flowers on stems that rise above the foliage through spring and summer. The flowers produce nectar that attracts birds and bees. This plant is found naturally throughout NZ in coastal areas and typically grows as a tidy clump to 50 cm tall and the same wide. It grows best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained, frost-free site, though will tolerate dry and exposed conditions. Arthropodium Matapouri Bay is commonly mass planted as a groundcover, used in cottage or “white” gardens, included in borders, or planted around outdoor living areas.
