Bergenia Silberlicht is an herbaceous perennial grown for its lush foliage and pretty flowers. It grows as a tidy clump to about 30 cm tall and the same wide, performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of moderate frost, cool climates, short periods of dry, and a wide range of soil conditions, except extreme wet or dry. In cooler areas the plants may die back during winter to regrow again when conditions warm.
