Canna Queen Charlotte Details

Canna Queen Charlotte is a variety of Canna Lily grown for its impressive flowers and foliage. In summer it produces tall spikes carrying masses of yellow and red flowers. The stems may reach 1.5 m above the large and mid-green leaves. The foliage provides a lovely backdrop to the flowers. It grows as a clump and will typically reach 1 m tall and 75 cm wide. In cold environments the plants may die back during winter to regrow again in spring. Canna Lilies grow best on a well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade though they are generally tolerant of cold environments and wet soils. Canna Queen Charlotte is commonly used in tropical gardens, grown in a container, planted alongside water features, added to mixed plantings, or included in wetter areas. A mass planting is very rewarding.
