Canna Yellow Humbert is a popular variety of Canna and features lush foliage coupled with impressive flowers. It carries large and glossy, dark green leaves which are held upright and have a gentle arch. Stems rise above the foliage from late spring until early autumn baring large and showy, orange flowers with splashes of yellow at the edges. The combination of flowers and foliage is very aesthetic. This herbaceous perennial typically grows to 1.2m tall and 1 m wide, and in cold environments may die back during winter to regrow again when temperatures warm in spring. Canna Lilies grow best when planted on a well-drained, sheltered site in full sun or partial shade, though it is tolerant of moderate frost and heavy soils.
