Colocasia White Lava Details

“White Lava” is a variety of Colocasia that features large and showy leaves that are dark green with cream-yellow, and held on black stems. It typically grows to 1 m tall and 90 cm wide, performing best when grown in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained, sheltered site that does not get frosted. It will often die back during winter to regrow again when conditions warm. “White Lava” is commonly included in tropical gardens, planted around water features, used as a backdrop for smaller plants, maintained in a container, or mass planted for a stunning display.
