Convolvulus Blue Lake is an herbaceous perennial that produces amazing flowers. It grows as a leafy and compact plant and produces the showy, single, dark blue flowers through summer and autumn. The flowers literally blanket the plant. It typically grows to 15 cm tall and 60 cm wide, performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of light frost and dry periods once established. Convolvulus Blue Lake is commonly used as a tidy groundcover, included in cottage gardens, grown in a hanging basket, or planted so it can trail over the edge of a wall or the like. NB: it is not an invasive or noxious weed like other Convolvulus species.
