Leopard Plant
Farfugium japonicum Argenteum, commonly known as the Leopard Plant, is an herbaceous perennial grown for both its flowers and foliage. It produces large and glossy, dark green leaves with a cream-white margin. The foliage is complemented with daisy-like, yellow flowers in autumn. It grows as a clump to about 25 cm tall and 40 cm wide, preferring a full sun or partial shade position that is well-drained. It will tolerate frost and cool climates and may die back during winter to regrow again in spring. The Leopard Plant is commonly included in mixed plantings and borders, used in cottage gardens, mass planted as a groundcover, or included in outdoor living area plantings. This is a very fashionable plant that is sure to impress.
