Felicia amelloides variegata is an herbaceous perennial grown for its striking, daisy like flowers and variegated foliage. Flowers are about 5 cm wide and are made up of the violet-blue petals and a yellow centre. These are produced from summer through autumn and held above the foliage which comprises small, green leaves with a cream margin. It typically grows to 50 cm tall and the same wide, growing best in full sun on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of moderate frost and short periods of dry. Felicia variegata is commonly included in borders and mixed plantings, added to cottage and pool gardens, planted around outdoor living areas, or maintained in a container. A mass planting on a bank or the like looks exceptional and will certainly draw attention.
